D.J. McRae Contracting has been completing heritage restoration projects since our inception. Founder, Don McRae, began as a steeplejack, accepting projects to restore and repair church spires utilizing bosun’s chairs hung from the spire’s cross. From there, the work expanded to include masonry restoration, conventional renovation and new construction projects.
In recent years, D.J. McRae Contracting has completed four phases of masonry restoration of the building fabric at the Queen’s Park Legislative Building. We have the expertise and experience to handle carpentry restoration, stone/masonry restoration, copper and slate roof assemblies, below grade work and anything else that may arise. These project profiles demonstrate our abilities and expertise.
